shoes to go with dress (with a difference, well for me anyway)

So I bought this dress on eBay and its a bit like this:

from Warehouse in a cream colour. I'm going out to birthday drinks on Fri eve and am unsure what shoes to wear with it. Weather bit nippy for sandals and my normal black tights/shoes are a bit too wintry. Ideas anyone? Álso what jacket would work?
