Nice school shoes for boys?

For infant school - the latest offerings from Clarks seem to be, in effect, black leather trainers, or very clumpy formal shoes.

Any suggestions on who might have a better range but with proper sizing/support etc?

Russell and Bromley sell nice ones and their fitting etc is good. I get DS2s from there

Thanks, I had thought of trying there (have bought nice casual shoes there before) but wasn't sure if they did school shoes. The Clarks selection is awful.

Thanks for the advice on Russell & Bromley. I despair every new term when DS 1&2 need new school shoes as they seem to be fantastically ugly and stupidly expensive for ugly shoes.

How about any of these?
