Outfit help, required urgently!!!!

Urgent help required!!

I'm going out this weekend but haven't got a clue what to wear. I'm going to a bar to see a live band and am in a panic.

I'm 38, 5ft9 n a size 8. Do I go casual, smart casual or glam myself up a bit. Do I wear dress, skirt, jeans, flats, heels, I just need help help help starting from scratch.

I have two children n haven't been out for ages so don't know where to begin.

Help me please xx

bishboschone, that vest is beautiful! And I am not normally even a huge fan of vests.

Truly with your figure and height I doubt you could look bad in anything..how do you want to look?

Did you try Oasis and Topshop for jeans.

Topshop Martha in black are a good look(make sure you buy them tight as they stretch)

I know its lovely and looks super expensive despite being £30.

I will be paying Topshop a visit tomorrow as have heard lots of good things abouth their denim, may venture into Gap too.

Why can't going out be easy. Its not something I do regularly as I am a SAHM.

I'm finding shoes very difficult, not really a lover of flats but am unsure if I'll stand out too much in heels???

I would go for a cowboy boot type heel if you are worried, topshop have loads of these type if boots and if you keep it simple you can keep this outfit for another evening. If you are feeling brave ask one of the girls in topshop. I worked in Warehouse as a teenager and loved helping people with outfits, just look for someone friendly and ask if they will help you choose. Good luck . :)
