stranger in the mirror

I dyed my hair from blonde to dark brown this weekend. I like my more edgy look but how long will it take to get used to it? Every time i look in the mirror i see a stranger. Anyone had the same feelings after a dramatic change?

Yes, I went from blonde to dark a couple of years ago. The idea was to go back to my natural dark blonde colour, but the colour the hairdresser put on was very dark to cover up the light blonde. I lived with it for about 3 days before I went back to my usual blonde.

I didn't recognise myself in the mirror and hated it.

I think that because I was blonder when I was young, and I've been highlighting my hair for so long, I'm blonde inside my head. [blonde emoticon required]
