I gave my DCs "scars" using Lipfinity Gloss and now can't get rid of them!

The "scars" that is, not DCs.

DCs were playing Harry Potter yesterday and required "scars" to be applied to their faces. I dutifully obliged using Lipfinity gloss (as couldn't find red lipliner). Unfortunately, despite copious amounts of regular make up remover and soap & water, the damn stuff wont come off.

Tomorrow we are flying to France to visit FIL and DCs look like they have been in car crash Shock Grin.

Any recommendations for shifting it?

i always use black eyeliner for harry scars.

How about baby oil?

Hadn't thought of baby oil. Will go to Boots forthwith.

I did suggest black eyeliner but DCs insisted they should be red Hmm.

I'm sure baby oil will work, we use it all the time for removing face paints, sticky plaster marks.

Save yourself a trip to boots and try cooking oil/olive first. People talk of using this for the oil cleansing method, personally i used almond oil, made me spotty after a few goes.

fab, thank you. I am an aromatherapist so have an assortment of veg/seed/nut base oils to try in that case (altho not baby oil as its mineral based).

Thanks again :)
