Tried on this lovely strapless jumpsuit thing today. Here it is link

I tried the 14, it made my waist and legs look huge, tried the 12 and it was still massive, what's the shape it's supposed to suit?

I am 14 on top, waist 14-16 hips 12, legs long and skinny, like a ball on a stick basically.
Should I give up on the jumpsuit thing?

The look doesn't really suit anyone.....I have seen people who have fantastic figures wearing them but they still look like a toddler who has shit themselves.

No-one looks good in them. Only stick-thin people look even passable and still look then like kids' tv presenters. Steer clear.

Try it again but wear really high heels.
I have a pair of harem trousers and look like I'm wearing a nappy until I put heels on... then look tall and slim and feel fab - totally transforms the look.

Thank you! Back to the style drawing board for me....

This shape

They can look nice - god - I hate this 'they don't look good on anyone crap'.

Its just clothes - its fun so experiment a bit.

I'm short (yes - I know that means I can wear hardly anything according to some on mn) but fairly slim - size 6-8 and I have one and it looks fine.

I do wear with heels though. I know some other ladies on mn have them too and look good in them too.

But it will make going to the loo a nightmare, surely? Separates would be better for anyone keen on the style.

traceybath · 11/08/2010 21:38

You whip it down and whip it up - the work of seconds Wink

TrillianAstra · 11/08/2010 21:39

I guess harem pants might suit people with really baggy bottoms - because you think it's only the silly trousers that make their bum appear to droop to their knees.

Kaloki · 11/08/2010 21:40

Strapless would be easy, it's if it has straps when it's a pain.

HinnyPet · 11/08/2010 22:01

That one was strapless, am just wondering why it made my waist look mahoosive, do you wear a belt with it?
