I want old style Charity shop chic, how do I get it?

Think Alys Fowler....:)

Charity shops stock primark etc so no good.

I don't want that. I don't live anywhere near Portobello road either. Are there vintage places online?

Where can I shop to get the allotment chic look? (I have green wellies)

Cath Kidston do some charity-shop style sloppy cardis.

MyVintage and CandySays are good online vintage shops but I've had best results ordering from US eBay sellers. If you live anywhere near a Traid shop, they often have good vintage rails, or try church jumble sales/independents rather than chain charity shops.

thank you very much Mippy.

Thanks to you I was mooching around eBay and subsequently started an "underwear posing on eBay" thread Grin

Not exactly what I was looking for it has to be said hehehe

Just don't search for 'worn bra' 'well worn shoes' or 'scally' then...

It is a very big jump from Alys Fowler to granny does Ann Summers... Shock

I was searching the vintage section and there she was in all her glory!
