Boden returns - I knew they would screw up

Im bloody furious. I sent back three items from the preview and three items from the sale all in one parcel. I wrote a clear note asking for an exchange which would have given me a credit for £10 roughly. I knew they wouldnt get it right, they have bloody done this to me before.

They have creditted my card with the money from one order (the preview), which will take three days to clear and with the sale return which is £60 they have tried to pay for my new order of £150 which is an EXCHANGE order. Dont they know what an exchange is??? So now Ive had some woman patronisingly ringing me saying that my Switch card has bounced. Its so humiliating.

If you go to a shop for an exchange thats exactly what they do over the counter why cant Boden get it right?

Speak to them, they are usually really really good at sorting stuff out

Im on the phone to them now. Im not impressed they never even took the 20percent off and it was an exchange for the preview order. Im counting to ten.

They have taken me into my overdraft and Im not impressed.

Oh that's bad. They can do weird things.Ihope you get ti sorted- COMPLAIN and they might give you credit.
LAst year they sent me the wrong cardi 3, yes 3 times- right packaging bag, wrong item inside- all just picked out by bar code, not looking at order and colour and thinking...errr she wants blue so why are we sending green..that kind of thing.

In the end they gave me a £20 credit as I was so sick of going to the PO to return.

They also did something weird with some credit I had- they used the credit against an order though the order didn't show it in the total on the delivery note, and I didn't check my statement as I returned the whole order.

I thought I still had that credit in my account- about £35, but when I asked recently they said they had used it against the order and refunded the whole amount ( including the credit) back to my card.

Its just frustrating. I rang back actually and told them that they had sent me into my overdraft (they have) so they have creditted me with £30. I dont know why they have to mess about with peoples cards. I dont even know what Ive ordered now, she went on about some of it been out of stock now but I dont know whether she means Im getting that money back or not.

I know one thing was the boyfriend blazer which I think Ive gone off anyway so, no doubt it will be going back.

Have you not got your email from them saying the order has been received? Or is that just when it's despatched?

yes I got two emails one saying they had creditted my bank card for two (preview items) the other saying they had received my return (the sale items) and would be exchaing them, so basically they used the cheaper items towards the 150 exchange and then went back to my bank and charged me the difference. What they shouldve done and what normal shops done is used the receipts for the two returns and exchanged them for the items I asked for without involving debit cards or banks.

Its not the first time they have done it.
