HELP! Suddenly I look really old.

Caught sight of myself in a mirror this morning - and have to admit that I look like a very haggard Sandi Toksvig.

I've always looked young for my age, but now, in my mid-40s, I look ancient.

I am very pale with fair hair, and all of a sudden about a million lines and wrinkles have appeared. My face is also always going red which is really attractive (not!).

I see someone like Orla Brady from Mistresses who is 49 and I want to weep: I look nothing like that.

What can I do? Any make-up tips? I know I can't stop the march of time but would anything make me look less grim?

clinique have a range which deal with redness which are AMAZING!

Ooh I tell you what's good! A serum you use at night called A'KinRadiance Serum or other such gubbins.

It's oils and essential oils & looks orange. You put it on after cleaning grubby face and next morning look very rested (esp if like me, you will not be.....grrr dc4)

I've tried Guerlain's midnight secret and this stuff is better than that.

About £20, lasts a good while and I don't have redness anymore. Good for ezcema too :)

Sorky is it really dood for allergic skin?[i am always trying things and then reacting after a few weeks!].But it sounds brilliant if it reduces redness and increases radiance.[I also have 4 dc's and look permanantly exhausted].

I agree, I've had dermal fillers in the past 6 months and it is incredible how it changes..I just loved! Smile

IPL?

I googled it...it's either the Indian Premier League (which I'm not sure if I want to do in order to look young)

or

this which I've heard is good for threadveins, but haven't tried.
