I'm currently on the lookout for some walking style shoes for the coming seasons. I don't regularly walk, but do go out on weekends and it inevitably leads to walking around in cold/muddy/snowy/wet conditions.
Everything I've seen has looked a bit 'hardcore' for my needs. And also been bloody ugly. I understand that when hiking or climbing up a mountain, style doesn't particularly matter, but I'm not doing either of those things. I did see some nice converse walking boots on the free people website which just looked like nice, sturdy boots with a little tartan design on the sides, but they've since disappeared. I also don't know how waterproof or warm they would have been.
Do shoes exist for things like this?
