Cheap mascara with WOW factor

Am off to Boots tomorrow I need a new mascara been using No7 Intense Volume. Its just not enough for me I want big fat black wow lashes. I do however want it under a tenner. Any ideas anyone? Had a look through the archives and I am none the wiser tbh.
I just want to look awake and to draw attention to my eyes without looking like a teenager with too much slap on.

Not asking much!

TIA

I find Boujour mascara suit good. I like the one with the white mascara one end and the black the other. Then you can either wear just black for everyday, or really plump them up by applying the white before the black. I used to use No7 but went off them. Found they were to 'watery'. Virgin Vie do a double ended mascara called Dream Lashes, its fantastic!

*quite good. Bloody phone Hmm

I absolutely love Max Factor Masterpiece waterproof. I've tried Diorshow, two different Lancome ones and numerous others, and I think the Max Factor blows them all away. But only the waterproof one ? I accidentally bought the non-waterproof one once and it was not nearly as good.

I use Max Factor max masterpiece too. I like the one in the black tube better than the one in the gold tube. Not too sure why though, can't remember TBH.

Not keen on the False Lash Effect because of the fat brush.

Like featherblue, have tried YSL falsh lash, Lancome Hynose and keep coming back to Max Factor every time.

Actually Clinique Naurally Glossy is good @ £14.50

Collection 2000 Volume Sensation! Around a fiver i think with a big fat brush :-)

BelligerentGhoul · 08/08/2010 15:50

Don't buy Max factor Lash Extension mascara - it is not good! Another of theirs was v good but I can't remember which one it was. :(

Number 7 ones smell really, really horrible (like fish). My daughter really likes the Maybellineone in a pink and green tube and it's only around a fiver iirc.

Max Factor 2000 Calories.

I have tried every single expensive mascara and always come back to this one.

It's bloody fab.

The fatbrush Max Factor one is awful. Bought one last week and it's in the bin.

MooMinCow · 08/08/2010 19:15

Hate those Max Factor ones and any with those weird rubbery brushes - for fat big lashes you need a big bristle brush I think! Diorshow or MAC Plushlash if you want to splash out or have recently discovered Prestige 'My Biggest Lashes' mascara (bright pink tube) for £6.99!

Like everyone else, I've tried hundreds. I currently love Max Factor False Lash Effect. And I have the shittest smallest lashes in the world!
