Desperate -need wedding help

I am going to a big family wedding soon and need to look like a million dollars -but on a budget. Unfortunately I am the same age and very similar body type as Pauline Quirke Blush so 'style' is always hard for me.

Can anyone suggest a dress outfit that would look like I tried at least.Smile

Not sure what size Pauline Quirk is. Is she roughly a 16? What's the budget like and is there a particular colour that suits you?

What do you think of this Phase Eight dress? It's a great colour and the draping over the tummy area is slimming. The v neck will draw attention to your cleavage rather than tummy and if you're not keen on having your arms on show then a little cardie or shrug would give you some coverage.

Hi, What's your budget and what is your dress size?

SrStanislaus · 07/08/2010 18:39

Thanks for the links HarveyChicks . I like that dress and the shrug . The price is a little outside of what I would like to pay but still okayish.

I look well in deep red/green/ strong colours (Irish colouring =brown hair, blue eyes ,blue skin Wink ) and steer clear of pastels .

I should also mention that I have had a mastectomy and wear a prosthesis so cleavage revealing/low frontages are out.

This could look lovely as the wrap dress style is really flattering.

This could also look lovely but I'm not sure how low cut it is.

This could also look lovely with your colouring.

This is really pretty too.

Hope that helps.

lulabellamozerella thank you for the links Grin
I love the Alexon and Kaliko dresses .I think I could work the Kaliko one as it looks like it fits quite close to the chest wall and wouldnt gape too much.

That Kaliko one is amazing, a brilliant price and the only size left is an 18! It is obviously meant for you! Do it!

lulabellamozerella · 08/08/2010 12:30

That's okay! I really like the Kaliko one too and it is a great price!
