By tomorrow, & I can't go shopping

it's here but actually it's a slightly deeper red than on my computer

I have nice dark brown sandels, silver sequiny flats, black & strappy, gray suede, green, navy,

I have black, brown, silver and lots of various coloured wraps

I have pearls, crystal, diamonte, trollbead type necklaces, glass pendants

I have ruby & diamond ear-rings, diamond ear-rings, various other bits

I have galloping indecision - help?

Family birthday party (DH's family)
church hall (type venue)
everyone dresses up/looks a million dollars or they are really casual - I always get it wrong

So I thought I'll dress to make me feel good

Does it have that belt? I would change the belt if it were me, TBH...

I would wear a pendant with it, and flats or kitten heels in grey, purple or nude- not black.

Or go preppy with pearls.

raspberrytart · 06/08/2010 21:05

What colouring are you,tallness/hair long/short etc
What colours make you feel confident/get you complements?

KatyMac · 06/08/2010 21:09

I am 5ft 5
I wear a lot of red, green, purple, black never cream, beige, yellow
I have dark(going grey) fairly curly hair & very pale skin

I have good boobs (well large anyway) great legs & I dance

The belt was/is missing - I have some belts but thought it looked better without

Everyone who has seen the dress/me in it loves it/the colour/the style - apparently it's the best thing I have bought in years (as well as the most expensive)

I have wobbly arms/thighs (but that's life)
I'm a bit spotty (just came on )

You could use the belt instead of a necklace- go for gold, purple etc. and really make a feature of it.

Or wear without and a necklace. Not both.

raspberrytart · 06/08/2010 21:19

ok,you need some heels if you dance, what about your grey suede are they heels?
Then you could use silver wrap jobbie and diamonds!

BelligerentGhoul · 06/08/2010 21:21

Lovely dress. I like the sound of silver sequin flats and silver wrap, with a glass pendant.

KatyMac · 06/08/2010 21:26

Glad I asked

I was leaning toward basic black

But Gray heels, do I have a gray wrap or just the silver? (better check)

In case you are wondering, DH is a dance teacher so for several years I spent most weekends dressed up at dances etc - hence all the accessories Blush

Damn - just found gold shoes too - would they be better?

SixtyFootDoll · 06/08/2010 21:48

I wouldnt wear a necklace as the neckline is too high

I would wear the sequin pumps
Diamond earrings and a silver/ diamante bracelet

KatyMac · 06/08/2010 22:03

Ruby ear-rings
No necklace
Red wrap - blends of reds including the dress colour

Shoes??

I wish I had red shoes

OP posts:
SixtyFootDoll · 06/08/2010 22:33

Too much red

KatyMac · 06/08/2010 22:43

I know

Can you tell I don't really want to go

Well I do but I'm tired & I have loads of OU work to do & it's a 5 hr journey

Maybe gold shoes?
