I am selling on ebay for the first time and I just wanted your opinion on what you think this looks like! I am going to sell lots of brand new and used things! any opinions will be very helpful!

Very good Ll, professional looking! Description is very detailed too, always good.
The following is only a thought but...£4.50 may be a bit steep as you only have 5 feedback (this is in no way me getting at you ) ebayers tend to look at the feedback score first. Could it be worth while putting some of your cheaper stuff on first, up your feedback and then put the other stuff on?
Hope that came across ok!

link

there

I agree, the ad looks great, but would start bidding lower, but not cos of feedback, I just think you would get more interest that way.

mumtosomeone · 26/08/2005 13:27

good add!!

spagblog · 26/08/2005 13:28

Great listing, but postage a bit steep for a T-shirt?

It would cost about 50p to post btw.

biglips · 26/08/2005 13:33

i agree with Sleepy as the price is a bit steep

PeachyClair · 26/08/2005 14:29

I noticed the of instead of have too, I know it's silly but we sell a lot on ebay (Dh's business mainly), and I have noticed that sp errors=a lower selling price.

jayzmummy · 26/08/2005 14:38

Ive put some of the cards I make on to ebay. I put one on ages ago and didnt sell it because I had put it in the wrong place

Ive just checked to see if I have any bids...none so far but someone is "watching" one of them.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I sell at least one of them.

dizzymama · 26/08/2005 15:01

Jayzmummy, where are your cards on ebay?

laughinglil · 26/08/2005 21:43

obviously prices are way to high I will lower them a bit ! Lots of watchers for all three items however see what you think ....

I would lower your prices and put postage cost down. £2 to post a little t shirt, it wont cost more than 50p. I start a lot of my auctions for as little as 10p and they always get loads of bids and go way over that amount, but ebayers like to think thier getting a bargain.

spagblog · 27/08/2005 12:57

They look great, but it must cost quite a lot in ebay fees to list them.
If you got rid of the subtitle and the page design and started them lower, you would only have to pay about 30p to list them and then you wouldn't have to bump your postage costs so high.

jayzmummy · 30/08/2005 14:22

dizzymama...Ive just seen this
here are my cards on ebay

There are loads more cards that have been made by all the mumsnet crafty mums in the yahoo gallery. If you go to the arts and crafts section you can acess the gallery from there.
You need to use the USER NAME mumsnetter and the PASS WORD netters.

Ive had bids on a couple of the cards I have put on ebay....dont know whether ebay is really the place to try and sell them...it was worth the try though.

laughinglil · 30/08/2005 14:46

i have sold a few things get the impression though that kids clothes aint really the things to sell! has anyone made a lot from selling kids clothes?
