Maxi Dress Fans

So looks like summer is pretty much over but I still like wearing maxi dresses. Can they cross over into autumn / winter and if so how would you wear them? Mine are quite light floaty cotton ones - not sure they would wear well with boots etc

I have worn mine in the winter before with a polo neck underneath and knee high boots.

Is summer over? I'm still wearing maxi dresses.

Temperature below 20 in not so sunny Midlands today constitutes heading to autumn for me

Ok the maxi's that I have for daywear are a strapless jersey dress, a thin floral cotton one with spaghetti straps and a tribal print halterneck dress - just not sure how I can wear them when it gets colder - hadn't thought about a polo underneath - thanks sweetheart
