Boden Straightleg Wool cropped trousers

My pair of black straightleg cropped trousers arrived in the post today - this review might be useful to other prospective buyers as I know there's been a good bit of interest in them on MN, and as yet its not possible to leave a review on Boden!

I may have found that elusive pair of black trousers which fits well at both the waist and at the hips. The "crop" finish is quite flattering, I have tried mine on with Winter wedge heels and they look great,also have a flattering "flat" finish at the waist. They'd also look great with ankle boots for Winter wear. The trousers are low rise and sit comfortably just below my natural waistline. I'm normally a 10 so if you're unsure I would definitely size up. They're also lined half way so you dont get that uncomfortable feeling you sometimes get from woollen trousers. I bought a regular length and the trousers end just above my ankle. Overall a great pair of quite smart trousers, and for this price with 20% off I will be keeping them!

sleepwhenidie - I think this code is expired now, it was the one which came out with the A/W preview stuff in June. There is a 15% code though, LN2T which should also give you free postage/returns

are crops in this year?

I don't know...I can see them working with ballet flats, but anything else might look as if your trews don't fit.

TBH when it's cold, I am in boots with trews all year round unless it's amild day.

I couldnt wear crops, I dont like that look of tights underneath, its just me. I like my trousers long!

talking of cropped trousers I really like the look of these for Autumn. They look much nicer in the catalogue; why do they keep sending me these when I have only ever ordered a pair of shoes from them? They weigh a fucking ton
