Costco, of all places. Lovely plain cashmere jumpers in lots of colours. And they're somewhere in the £30-£40 price bracket, so you can buy more than one.

Brora. May even still have sale on. ££ but good quality.

John Lewis

Brora is famous, and ethical, and good quality, and has a huge range, and is at the pricey end.

M and S go through the wash, and are far cheaper. The range is more limited, but changes throughout the year. Also, you should do an on-line search first, because they'll often have cashmere things in their little capsule bits - so not necessarily sitting in the "cashmere island" in the middle of the shop.

There. Two for starters.

I second M&S it can be a bit frumpy but they do have some great pieces at great prices. I tend to wear Johnsons cashmere but cashmere and cotton is apparently fab and they have great prices.

Agree- J Lewis, M&S, and even BODEN!
