Trying to come up with a shopping list to get me through the autumn... I'm usually jumper & jeans all the way but thinking of branching out into skirts & leggings, jumper dresses, kind of thing!

Ooh I was going to start a similar thread (even though I haven't been on my summer holiday yet!).
I bought a copy of Elle last week for the first time in years and liked loads if the "looks" (though obv not the prices!)

The trends I liked are

Camel coats & knitwear
leopardskin patterned shoes & accessories
Flat loafers and laced shoes - I really don't do heels so very pleased about that!
Well tailored coats
Black bootcut dressy trousers

So I am planning to buy

New skinny jeans from Gap
Flat leather knee high boots
Boots with a small heel to wear with dresses/skirts or else loafers
A couple of tunics
New bag (liking the Boden messenger bag)
Maybe a new coat

Things I already have

Camel coloured coatigan
Leopardskin ballet pumps
Ditto scarfs
Thick leggings
Boyfriend jacket
cord skirt

Decorhate · 04/08/2010 08:03

Scarves!

brookeslay · 04/08/2010 10:15

Two tops jersey
1 knee length cord skirt
1 Shorter green mini
white skirt
long line vests
1 rose cardigan
new pair indigo jeans

new undies

brown boots
black boots

1 ruffle frill mac brown

red bag oasis

I look crap in camel not toddler freindly

I like the semi-goth stuff that's coming in and also really fancy either some heeled brogues or some button boots. And military or Edwardian-inspired jackets. Will still do pencil skirts because I like them. And I want more dresses - lots of them! And I need some new brown boots because mine are dying.

What shape does this year's camel coat need to be? I have a really good one (quite old now but immaculate) that I was going to sell on ebay but I might just allow it a second chance!

Decorhate · 04/08/2010 16:35

Have seen a variety of shapes, peacoats, capes & quite a few that look generously sized with v neck & lapels

FellatioNelson · 04/08/2010 17:16

Mine is in the generously sized/long, classi v neck and blazer style lapel (with detachable furry collar) category. Is it wise and avid enough or not?>

Decorhate · 04/08/2010 17:43

No idea about wise & avid - can't afford to
join in that thread!

I definitely fancy a cord skirt, have an aeons-old brown Topshop mini that I love but maybe a bit short now I'm in my 30s??

Quite like the Boden ones, I meant to add.

Also definitely want some tall flat boots, again like the Boden ones but too £££ for my budget
