Was on the lookout for cheap but funky jeans to cover my enormo-arse. Went into newly-refurbed NL - even though I am clearly about 15 years over their target market - and found a fab pair but in ever-so-slightly tight size 14 . So took a size 16 off the rack and paid, along with delicious chocolate-brown velvet fitted jacket.
Got home. Discovered that despite size 16 tag, can barely get one jeg in miniscule wrongly-labelled jeans - and delicious jacket still has bloody great plastic security tag on the back! So have to go back tomrrow and suffer humiliation and possible accusations of velvet jacket thievery...
Grrrr, flippin' 12 year old, size 6 shop assistant, useless, can't get the staff, grumble grumble moan...
