I have never plucked my eyebrows

and I'm getting married in less than 3 weeks time, so my family have staged an intervention suggested that I pluck them into some sort of shape. (DP hadn't noticed that they were untamed, bless him, but when I said I'd maybe go and get it done professionally somewhere he balked as he doesn't want me to look like someone else when we marry!)

Can anyone give me any guidance on what to do, how to do it fairly painlessly, and are there any online guides which aren't just terrifying?

Another yes to threading. I do it myself, but would not recommend practising on yourself before the wedding. In London, there are places that do it for 99p. Oh, and congratulations!

I can get away with not plucking mine, but I look noticably more lovely with them plucked- better cheekbones, bigger eyes, and more polished.

If you want to do it, do it SPARINGLY, try and go into an arch shape, and never, ever pluck from above.

I wouldn't get them done professionally unless you can tell them exactly what shape you want and it doesn't sound like you do?

Yes to all the threading advice - make a big deal that you want to keep them natural and the difference is like a mini face lift - honest!
