Anybody tried the Silca pills?

Hi

Is anyone taking Silca. It's supposed to be great for you hair,skin and nails but I haven't really heard if they're any good or not.

Can anyone shed any light?

do you mean silica? you will have to wait months to see any improvement. What's the matter with your hair and nails?

One of the best things you can do is eat 3 Brazil nuts a day- full of selenium which is great for hair skin and everything else.

Yes, I probably do mean silica. My hair's been breaking off recently.

no I haven't tried it but I know it is a trace mineral- you might be better off eating foods that contain it- I thought I read once that it was found in beer and is good for bones!

Cheers purplepeony! I'll try that. I'll be sat there drinking beer and munching on brazil nuts from now on.lol

Shame it's not found in chocolate and wine.
