Boden red patent satchel

Has anyone got this red patent satchel from Boden?

I'm tempted at £39 but is it plastic-feeling/looking in rl? And not quite sure - is is funky and cool or tacky and plastic?!

Opinions sought!

it's leather! very nice bag

I ordered it - didnt like the red (different than in picture), and it seemed a bit plasticky to me - i sent it back .... (nice style) but i wasnt too keen on the bag ....

Is it really bright red or a bit pale?

Wouldn't doing the buckles up be a faff all the time?

I got it. I sent it back because it looked plastic and was unpleasantly crumpled in places. I would say pink rather than red. IIRC the buckles were fake and there were studs behind them that closed magnetically.

Well, I've gone for it now as suddenly thought it might disappear if I didn't go for it now. We'll see...

It's a lot pinker in real life.

I've got it and I actually think it's more red in RL. I love mine, smells and looks gorgeous and has attracted many compliments. It's a good size too.

PS the Zoo book where they send the child all the different animals and they keep being sent back for being too big or too grumpy etc really makes me think of me and the Boden parcels going back and forth and that makes me smile...they sent me a funloving shirt, it was too...garish so I sent it back, so they sent me a...sassy shift, it was too...frumpy...
