How long will Flip-Flop "school" take ? (Ouch - my toes!)

I have decided that there are too many beautful flip-flop styles out there, and I need to force my toes into some.

I gave up as a child, but I did have odd feet - literally, and had surgery on my legs to sort the problems.

DS has just been converted, and it took him about 2 weeks.

I have just bought a cheap pair to play with, and after half an hour my toes are in agony (but they fely great in the shop!).

How long should this take. I go on hols in a fortnight!

When you say your toes are in agony do you mean the space between your big toe and second toe? If this is so then you can buy protectors for the toeposts they help stop the rubbing try scholl or clarks.

I had the same problem and i am 31!!! T=Flip flops never felt 'right'between my toes, but i was soooo jealous of people wearing flip flops tha one day i got a paif from gap for £5 and thought right then, time to face the pain, just spent a day at home with them on my feet while i pottered around the house, not walking anywhere, and after one day i had cracked it! I founds just wearing them round the house rather than walking some where for the first few days meant that my feet nudged the flip flop into position and i got used to them really easily.. i've notw got loads and live in them!

just don't walk anywher until you've got comfy in them... if i can do it anyone can as i used to shudder when trying to out flip flops on

havainanas are the most comfy flip flops around, they are a bit mor £££ but imo worth the extra for the comfort and durability

IMO cheap flipflops are more uncomfortable, although I fully understand why you wouldn't want to splash out in case you couldn't get used to them.

I bought some Fit Flops last year and wear them all the time in warm weather. They are as comfortable as slippers and far more comfortable than any other flip flop I have ever worn.
