DD has insisted that she has grown out of girly girly pink (hurrah), and all she wants in the world is a black and silver hoody - I wear lots of black and silver myself, so I'm kind of flattered. I'd like to get her one for her 8th b'day at the end of the summer, but can't find one in the shops.
H&M have some good quality plain black ones, but I can't think of a reliable way of decorating them in silver - maybe if I sewed silver ribbon on? or maybe John Lewis Haberdashery dept has some decorations I can sew on? I think that either fabric paint or beads won't be robust enough for an external garment.
Does anyone have any ideas please - either off the peg or DIY?
