Dress Code: "1930s wall street crashes into the circus ring". Errr What?!

I'm going to this thing tomorrow night with friends in Bristol, called the Swing Thing details here.

A friend just text me to ask what I was wearing, I was thinking a dress and then she tells me about this dress code. What the hell does that even mean and how do I sort out an outfit in less than 24hrs?!?!

Galaxy dress could work - killer heels, seamed stockings, red lippy.

I went with the galaxy dress in the end and got a friend to do my hair in some awesome 1930s style; I won a bottle of champers too for my efforts, thanks again everyone!
