jeans - where to buy + other questions

I could do with some new jeans - it is a long time since I bought any.

What style is "in?"

Where can I buy half decent ones? Preferably online as I cannot browse the shops with 3 under 5 (and in the school hols!)

What are supermarket jeans like?

I would prefer not to spend loads as I am hoping to drop a size when I stop feeding dc3.

Oasis Scarlet jeans were voted best jeans by Gok Wan survey, I have 4 pairs, very good, bootleg, very slimming, very stretchy and only £45.

What I did (I have 2 under 2) was give DCs to DH on a Saturday afternoon - zipped out to the nearest shopping mall type place, and quickly tried on jeans in Next, DP, Warehouse, M&S etc.

I then went on to Ebay and bought the jeans that fit me the best (Next in my case) for a fraction of the price.

thank you for the input. I seem to spend time on ebay as it is, so can keep an eye there once I know what suits me.

Will definately check out the ideas.
