Help for home waxing virgin

OK, bought some Veet waxing strips (the ones you just warm in your hands)

What is the optimum length of hair for best removal and least pain?

On legs, underarms and bikini line/fanjo periphery?

Tried to remove some very short shaving stubble around bikini line and not a thing came out.

Or are those strips just crap whatever the length?

Thanks ladeeez.

1/4" onwards is ideal for warm or hot wax in a salon, I would think a bit longer for those home waxing things as they're not as effective so probably the more hair they can grip the better.

Unfortunately longer hair does equal more pain though!

Personally I wouldn't use them on bikini line, you'll end up with tons of ingrown hairs if you try and wax your own.
