Nex - anyone else think its gone down the pan?

I think its soooooo cheap looking now, i ordered some bits and pieces and the quality was shocking! is it just me?

I bought some relatively expensive jeans there last year and both knees had holes in within the 'season'. Really crap quality so I do not shop there now..even can't be arsed with the sale!

I used to love Next stuff, but the last few seasons have been pretty awful. This season looks slightly better - found a nice top and shirt in there today, and a comfy jumper dress. The trousers are a bad fit on me now, and I haven't changed size! To start with I thought, it must be me, but no my friend has said the same. We used to love their jeans but not any more.

I agree its rubbish, never even bother looking at the womens clothes, too frumpy and ubiquitous. Funnily enough though I can spot Next clothing on other women a mile off. Quite like the girls clothes though, well made and well designed on the whole.

It's been rubbish for a very long time.

I did look recently when pregnant, but even their maternity clothes were too awful to consider.

I hate Next. Every time I have gone into a store the clothes have looked cheap and nasty and it always astonished me that people would queue up for the sale. I wouldn't wear their stuff if you paid me. Perhaps this is a generational thing. I'm 30 and cannot remember their clothes ever being nice.

Errmmm.....I quite like Next. I wear quite a lot of it, and the dcs too, and I'm a great fan of their homeware .

I'm always flicking through the catalogue, I haven't got time to go to the shops and love the fact that it arrives often within 24 hours of ordering.

Maybe I'm an unfashionable mumsy old git, but there we go......

I always think it's worth a look. Sometimes find something I like.

But it is rather reviled on mn.

Well, ponceydog, far be it from me to contradict the might of MN! Best dig out that Boden catalogue right away, and buy myself something spotty.

I'm so glad that it's not just me who thinks Next has been rubbish for the past 20 years. I used to shop there all the time - and their mens' stuff was great too.

When I look at their stuff it just "screams" Next. Bit the same way as Per Una "screams" at me.
