Best non greasy wax?

I've just had hair cut in a layered choppy below chin style, so it's quite nice and flicky instead of a huge mass.
I need a strong but flexible wax/paste- have been using Aveda control paste but it's not strong enough.
Any ideas please?

Oh dammit I was going to suggest control paste which is lovely but ££££. Better on short hair though

It is now £19 cyb......it's definitely better on short hair. Lovely stuff though.

what about a finishing spray or something just to break it up a bit? Isnt a waxy product too heavy?

deaddei · 22/07/2010 18:28

I need something to separate it, otherwise it's too fluffy.
Oh and I have discovered velcro rollers for a slightly different look.
I look a bit Hilda Ogden-y.

Do you straighten it?

No- I look too severe.
Sadly my face does not suit poker straight.
