Correct Tights - Longstanding Dilemma...

Hello All,

I suffer from cankles and a rather unfortunatel lower leg problem whereby my horribly pale legs (resistant to all fake tans - think I may be an interesting scientific anonomoly) looked like plucked chickens (any suggestions as to how to deal with this also gratefully received!).

Anyway, I have not exposed my bare legs since I was about 12 so now live in trousers over the summer and long for bad weather so I can dig out the knee boots.

What I want to know is this - during the early autumn late spring when you want to wear lighter coloured dresses and brown boots what colour tights should you wear? Black is too heavy and always had a bit of a fear of nude tights... Whaddya think?

Also did anyone else have fashion trouble after having their baby? Having lived in black sacks for so long I now find it almost impossible to get dressed in the morning. So many choices - so confused!

brown opaques? If you are wearing brown boots you might get the leg lengthening effect from the colours being the same, if you know what I mean.

brown opaques or plum opaques. M and S do both. the do a slate grey colour that is nice too and is currently in their sale..

oh. No advice on the tights, but my legs are like that as well. I wore a knee length dress yesterday and put tan tights on beacause they look so awful.
