Dont know location but I do know it bloody hurts.

Waxing much less painful

SloanyPony · 20/07/2010 13:16

See I'd say the opposite!

Give it a try maybe?

silver28 · 20/07/2010 13:18

Selfridges near beauty dept. I was v impressed, and less painful than waxing.

LaBellaSantaCatarinadiSienna · 20/07/2010 13:34

I first saw this in Selfridges in London. Unfortunatly the way the woman was standing I read the sign as 'Eyebrow reading'. DH and I spent a good 30 mins discussing the fact that someone could tell your future via your eyebrows, until all was revealed on our return circuit.

Anyhoo, I get it done in my local shopping centre - much prefer it to waxing

Lots of places for eyebrow threading in Manchester if you are out of the Trafford Centre. Great place in Withington opposite the Fire Station, some good places in Rusholme too.

I also much prefer threading to waxing.

FindingMyMojo · 20/07/2010 15:29

I love threading too - had eyebrows done last week and it was VERY PAINFUL as opposed to the usual mild discomfort! I had been warned not to get it done the week before my period as it is more painful - and it was.

So I've done the experimenting for you - learn my lesson & avoid threading in the run up to your period starting.

The place I've found is £6 which is excellent for a trendy part of London. It's at least £15 at Westfield and Selfridges must be at least that too. What do you pay?

LaBellaSantaCatarinadiSienna · 20/07/2010 15:52

I pay £7.50 in a shopping centre in Surrey or £15 in a beauty salon in the City. £6 is excellent!! Is that in the West End?

cheekychopsmum · 20/07/2010 15:59

Had it done at Selfridges, Trafford Centre - £10 I think, but much prefer it at the Stretford Arndale - £7, never a queue and over with very fast!!

FreeButtonBee · 20/07/2010 16:00

If you are in South London, try the Sajna chain - £3 for eyebrows! Total bargain. They have 3 shops in Clapham/Tooting.

I sometimes have to do a quick check once I'm home for the odd stray but my bushy brows are never perfect so that's fine by me. At £3 a go, I go every week without thinking about it.

FindingMyMojo · 20/07/2010 16:24

£6 in Chiswick

ruddynorah · 20/07/2010 16:26

most salons do it now don't they? my place do mine for free when i get my lashes permed. doesn't hurt a bit.

anonymousbird · 20/07/2010 16:29

Is it good?? Better than plucking? Sorry - ignoramus here - does it really do the job?

upahill · 20/07/2010 16:31

I use this company in Manchester. I use the place near the university

iskra · 20/07/2010 16:37

FreeButtonBee, I was going to recommend Tooting for south London! I've paid £2.50 there.

cornsilked · 20/07/2010 16:49

Right will check out Selfridges - thanks all
