Ladies bronzer advice needed!

Good evening ladies, I had a rare night out with a friend who is single and has a large make up collection - she persuaded me to glam up - instead of my usual laura mercier tinted moisturiser. I put on some of her guerlain terracotta 4 seasons and I was very impressed with the results...only trouble is my budget won't stretch to £45 plus I think DH would divorce me so give me cheaper but effective alternatives below £30

Please tell me there is a cheaper alternative

I have just bought a lovely Clarins bronzer, its got 2 colours in it. Think its called Duo Bronzer. Can't remember exact price, but definately under £30, may even be under £25.

I had the Bobbi Brown one and hated it.

have to disagree - have tried everything going and bobbi brown shimmer brick is the best. Laura mercier is the best tinted moisturiser so obviously you are already on the right track with that!
The bobbi brown one is expensive, I think about £30, but it lasts for ever. Make sure you get the right colour for your skin - only get "brownie" if you have really quite an olive complexion, otherwise get a paler one.

Ok Clarins is on the list
I'll check it out.

akhems · 19/07/2010 20:18

I just got a really nice one by bourjois

it looks like a slab of chocolate but it's matt and looks natural

Another vote for Nars Laguna here... lovely colour, suits most shades and lasts forever!

Laura Mercier is also not shit!; Their Primer, Tinted Moisturiser, Secret Eye Brightener and Concealer Pots are to die for!

I hope you find the perfect one for you!

I really liked the Givenchy Prisme Again blushers, they do a couple of shades in a lovely non glittery bronzer shade, and looks very natural. I think they are under £30 (but I haven't bought one for ages).

Thanks ladies, I'm actually feeling excited about buying make up. How sad am I [blush}

I'd get the one your friend has as you've tried it and loved it, cant you cut back on something else? Bronzers last for years, i have the benefit dallas one. You might spend £30 on one and end up not really liking it, the bobbi brown shimmer bricks are very sparkly didnt look good on my pale skin.
