Plain coloured bridesmaidy yet cheap dresses?

I am getting married in six weeks. I have five bridesmaids (don't ask- really was the minimum amount I could have had without ruptions) who have no dresses.

I and firedns are handmaking the flowers, in all different colours and styles, so I think the dresses might need to be quite plain, and they have to be cheap.

Three adult bridesmaid are sizes 14, 8 and 8, and ages 26, 23 and 17. The girls are 3.4yo and 9mo (or at least will be).

ARGH. Also, bridesmaids are up and down the country, have agreed to buy their own dresses and want them to try on and alter asap.

I'm thinking a budget of £20 per dress is the maximum. Quite an informal wedding, but would be good if they looked quite bridesmaidy.

Oh, and my dress is on my profile.

Thanks in advance- bridemaids are getting quite irate and all suggesting different things, so I'm going to have to be strong and just pick for them I think.

Have a look on asos they have lots of cheaper dresses.

My friend is having 9 bridesmaids and we've had a look on there and found some nice dresses, some for £15!

Would it help to Firstly Pick a colour, send them all a swatch and go from there. That way if the styles are all different they have something to tie them in together. Then it's up to them to find a dress within budget (i would enjoy doing this but i appreciate some may not).

for the children try childrenswear.co.uk. I got dn's dress for our wedding from there for about £15 and my ds's suits for £18 each last year.
