Where to buy a work suit???

Where would you suggest I go and look for a suit for an interview? Been SAHM for 5 yrs and previously only ever wore work issued polo shirts with trousers/skirt so am really out of the loop on what is an appropriate look. It'd be working for a senior director so I'm guessing I'm after a formal but not too severe (!) look. Also it not costing a small fortune would be good

Can't really order on-line as not enough time for it to be delivered and I'm hopeless at working out what would fits/looks good on me. Am planning on trekking to the local mall with 3 DCs in tow later today , as I reckon I'll have the most chance of finding something suitable there.

Am a 14 top half 12 bottom half, if it makes any difference

Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i am short ( 5 ft) and struggle with this, i have brought alot of my suits from next, but know it is not a popular place on here. if you can afford it bravissimo do separates.

Definitely look at Next. I bought suits there when I went back to work and found them to be reasonable quality and value.Much better than M&S.

Thank you. I'll have a look at Next first and see how I get on!
