how dark can nail varnish go for interviews?

I have blue nails - I've taken the varnish off but it's stained my nails!

I have an interview on Tuesday in a school; would a pink / nude colour be ok to cover my blue stained nails?

As long as the nails are in good condition I see no reason why dark isn't good
I wear rouge noir now even though it's not very trendy
it looks v polished on shorter square nails

could try a greyish minky colour to cover to be on trend??

have you tried buffing them to help remove the staining?

if you don't have one you can pick up a decent buffer for around a fiver, a buffer that is

also I'd recommend a clear base for deep colour to protect the nail from staining next time - can't you tell that i've learnt the hard way?

pink/ nude would be nice as long as none of the blue shows through, but buffing would probably give a cleaner finish, especially at the edges

it had a base on it!! Shocking... I will never wear it without a base lol, dread to think what would happen

I have gone with dark red atm although am likely to change at a moment's notice!

Dark looks great and well groomed on short nails - not so professional on long talons though.

Hope interview goes well Lewis

Go for a pale pink, it'll cover it but not catch the eye in the same way. If you're being interviewed by someone with 'tradional views' of dress, it won't annoy them, if you're being interviewed by someone a bit more modern, it equally won't stand out.
