boots in navy

I like navy and I like the idea of elongating my legs by wearing all the one colour.

I lived in a pair of dark tan ankle boots last winter.

I'd like another pair, maybe in navy. They would need to have rugged soles, a chunky heel and be leather not suede. (I live in a wood).

I also quite liked the sheepskin lining thing going on in the AW10 articles I've read.

Oh, and what I'd really like would be to buy something languishing in a clearance sale a a huge discount, but I might just be asking too much there!

Cowboy

Wellies

Do you want flat or heeled?

Pointed or round toed?

tethersend · 16/07/2010 21:12

There are some Fly boots out there, but I'm afraid my beliefs preclude me from linking to them

Maryqueenofchocs · 16/07/2010 21:55

How about these.....blue cowboy

tethersend · 16/07/2010 22:40

oooh, laredoute's website's gone a bit posh... nice boots, mary

Thank you very much for the links!

I have quite wide calves, 42ish cm, so cannot b sure that a standard knee length boot will fit. Ankle boots are therefore appealing. They were also vaguely on trend last year as well as keeping my feet nice and warm.

I am looking for something that won't look too outlandish paired with smart work clothes. Tey have to be robust, given that I have to walk down the side of a muddy ditch twice a day at home when parking the car and also negotiate a quagmire of a car park t work. I did have a look at some patent blue Boden kinky boots last year but they looked very plasticky.

I would def prefer leather and am looking ideally for a solid block heel that is 2 or 3 inches. I am also prejudiced against heels covered with same colour leather as I always prang them on the first or second wear, so I would choose some sort of stack heel every time.

Not that I'm fussy...

By the way, I do like these but not th price tag, and would like the heels to be thicker and the sole more rufty tufty.

Would you do wedge?

aarghhelp · 23/07/2010 04:24

hello again - I like the idea of the Fly ones but I am abit concerned that`driving in a high wedge might be hard?

I also quite like this though I would choose a furry lining as well if I could
