fit flop style shoes without toe posts?

I like the idea of the fit flops but have a raised mole on one foot between my 1st 2 toes, so toe post shoes are impossible for me to wear. Apart from trainers are there any mule type of these shoes out there - trainers don't really go with summery skirts

Just noticed on the Boots website that Fitflops are now doing a version without the post. Think they are called 'Roma'. Quite chunky but worth a look maybe. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that . They do look a bit chunky but I'll go to the shops for a look and try.

I bought a pair of Roma for a recent stay in Rome - am a Fitflop fan (loved the boots last winter) but can't cope with toeposts.

Chose the bronze and have to say they were fantastically comfortable - the thick soles coped really well with cobbled streets for many hours a day and I had no aches and pains in feet, back, etc.

They are rather clumpy - would have preferred them with interesting details like some of the toepost styles (eg Rebel, or Anna Sui limited edition). But, for what I wanted, the comfort outweighed this and the bronze colour, which goes with everything, lightens the effect a bit. Worth a try, I think.

They did a mule version last year which I also have, and like, but for some reason are only doing that for men this season.

I missed the boat last year then!

How apt - Roma for a trip to Rome
