Do they pierce ears here. If so has anybody taken their young dd there? are they reputable regards ear piercing, and do you have to book an appointment, any info on this thanks.

Yes they pierce ears there and usually right in the front window for all to see. I saw a baby getting them done there once and it was hideous truly hideous the poor thing was screaming the place down.

Have no idea about reputation. My dd got hers done last year for going up to High School but I took her to a beauty salon in a local hotel where the whole process was done in private. Cost about £12 including the studs if I remember correctly.

Thanks FIMBO for that info, I think I will get them done at a beauty salon after reading that.My dd is getting this done for her 8th birthday so I want it to be as painfree as poss.

in our local claires i've only ever seen a certain type of mother getting her very young daughters, often babies ear pierced, its done in the window for all to see and often by a very young assistant.

I got my DDs done there, then found out it would have been half the price at a beauty salon. They were ok though.

I had my ears done at Claires and it was fine. Mind you, I had two holes done in one ear, so had no concerns about the uneveness!
