question about mac pallettes?

im off to norwich in a couple of weeks and promissed myself a mac eyeshadow pallette (as we havnt a store near us)
i have a few questions
will they tell me what colour i suit?
how many colours i need for a basic day and night set?
and how much can i look to spend?

The MAC staff will definitely be able to find you a good spread of colours to suit you and probably will show you how to do it. You don't necessarily need a palette, just a few individual colours maybe. If you can afford it I would look at eyeliner from there too as they are brilliant.

Also have a check of Bobbi Brown (think it's much more expensive though) as they also do lovely eyeshadows etc.
