What colour shoes to wear with this gorgeous Joules dress

I'm going to a Wedding on Saturday so I only have tomorrow really to buy shoes.

I bought this dress from Joules and I'm not too shoes what colour shoes to wear with it.

I thought maybe silver, or burnished silver/bronze. There is a pink zip at the back so maybe I could try to match that.

Any ideas would be gratefully recieved.

I was thinking of a feminine, kitten heel style either sandals or sling backs.

Nude might be nice...

Or metallic

Or yellow

Or white

i have tried on that dress, its really pretty. you are right, you need simple girly style, not tarty

Thanks for your ideas.

I like the metallic and yellow suggestions from you tethersend. Infact, the shop assistant in Joules said that they put the dress with a yellow necklace on display.

Definately not tarty shoes with this dress Kristina. Isn't it a grorgeous dress.

Let's see what the High Street has to offer tomorrow!

i loved it - just too tight on bust for me

what about these from Office?

I finally found these sandles from M&S to go with my dress. They matched the zip at the back exactly so were a great contrast.

Thanks to everyone that helped.

I have that!

It's quite 60s I think. I was thinking plain black open-toe heels would be lovely with it.
