brazilian blowdry anyone tried it?

before you all start snorting into your coffee/ wine it's a type of semi permenant sp. hair straightening - for the head! It's supposed to be good and not bad for your hair but costs about £150 so don't want to do it if it's rubbish

Yes I have had it done, initially i thought great but you have to use their products afterwards and they don't really clean your hair properly so you end up with greasy looking locks the say after washing it. You then up washing it more which makes the blow dry effects wear off quicker.

Overall I would say it's not worth the money I had it done twice but i am not going back for a 3rd time

My hairdresser says it looks good to start with but as soon as your hair starts growing, the roots are au naturel and it looks odd....

Only worth it if you hair is very frizzy (having done it with not particularly frizzy hair)

lovely, thanks ladies! I do have rather crazy hair - they called me bog brush at school! but it does sound like it's just easier to endure the daily ghd routine

My hairdresser had a sign advertising this when I went in on Saturday. I'd never heard if it & said to the guy 'Pleas tell me that's not what I think it is?'

'No it's not' he said 'but we can do that too if you want....!'
