Having just been told off whilst having a facial, I'm looking to move from Olay cleansing pads (the dry ones you activate with water) and move to a decent cleansing routine. I have normal/combination skin - recommendations please ladies.........

of course you get told off whilst having a facial, that always happens.

Ignore! (they always want to sell their own products)

I have normal-combination skin, and you don`t have to do that much to it. I just wash with a flanel (shock horror) and then moisturise. Never bother with special cleansing stuff.

I do use a facial scrub twice a week (Origins fruit enzyme one, called: "never a dull moment" it is amazing).

Works peachy.

Hey lorelilee

Ditto what Chandon says - every facial I have ever been for they try to get you to buy other products

If you do want to use a good "regime"the I recommend Liz Earle cleanse & polish which is a product for all skin types - its like a cream that you massage on and then wash off using a muslin cloth(supplied with the product) and warm water. You can buy a try me kit from their website which I think also includes a toner, moisturiser & maybe an eye make up remover but I find the products all lovely & not harsh at all and they have the best customer service. have several mates who I have converted to the products as in comparison to lots of other brands they are not expensive at all.

HTH!

I also use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I know it's good because when I stop using it for a while and then start using it again people tell me how well I look

Tend to find that if I use it I don't need to exfoliate (the muzzie cloth does that for you), just moisturise.

I am also a fan of Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream but it's a bit pricey - hubby normally buys me a pot for Christmas.

But I do find that if you keep coming back to something, it must be good.

Thanks guys - looks like Liz Earle is the way forward!

I use lancome face wash 28 quid a tube but it usually lasts about 8 months also bobbi brown buffing grains that you mix with whatever cleanser you use are AMAZING. I swear by no7 protect and perfect serum as well it just makes you look healthier and less like someones overtired mother ( which is my usual look)

Seems to be out of stock at minute but was half price about a week ago, so may have sold stock then
