Please HELP me remove lash extensions!

I decided on a whim to have some of those hollywood lashes put on last week in readiness for a weekend of passion relaxation with my lovely husband....

Oh my word my eyes are so sore, prickly not itchy and pink tinged lids.

I have been told soaking in oil will do - I only have rapeseed in - is this a stupid idea?

The salon I used is closed until Wednesday (typical!) and I can't hang on any longer, or I shall end up picking them off and be lashless which will NOT do!

Oooh careful with this! My one foray into lash extensions didn't end well.

The lashes on one side started hanging off at a weird angle - I looked hilarious() and so I pulled them off fairly easily.

But then of course I had to get the other side off and they were welded on for England. In the end I pulled too had and some of my own lashes ripped out And it really hurt too

I think in retrospect maybe lots of bathing in warm water, maybe an oily eye makeup remover or olive oil and a bit of patience would have been a better plan.

The oil you have will be fine, anything very greasy-Vaseline for example-will loosen them. Your poor, poor eyes!

Ooh Moon, that sounds painful! This is what I fear so I am soaking like crazy right now..

Plum I am glad that oil will do, I really want to get on with it and really hope it works
