I'm officially past 48hrs since having a cigarette and wondered if anyone was doing the same?

36 hours in..., puffing like mad on a vape. Cut down over the past week, (the odd roll-up in between vaping) and am now determined now to crack and have another.

How are you doing?

I'm smoke free it's been just over 3 weeks. I have used a vape occasionally but it's been easier over the last week!

Well done.
Also puffing away on a vape.
Mornings are my hardest time.

I've tried so many times had hypnotherapy used all nicotine replacements but just feels different this time like I know I don't smoke anymore so strange l absolutely loved cigarettes before I only made the jump to finally give up as I had a bad chest for 3 months which cleared the week after I stopped smoking. I have a disposable vape which I've got on really well with compared to ones I've had before

Congrats, you’re doing great! I’m nearly 4 weeks in now, and using my vape a lot. Fully intend to reduce vape usage over the next month so that I can be nicotine free.

Me and DP have done it. It was end of October ish we stopped. I have always smoked more when I drink. I haven't had a sober fag since October but have smoked whilst having a drink about 3 times. I class it as a win as I never wanted one the next day. DP hasn't touched one since. I need to kick the smoke / drink association

Well done all! You give me hope!

I find mornings the worst. I've coped so far by telling myself that I'll vape until a certain time and then if I REALLY want a rollie then I can have one... the last two mornings this has worked. Oddly what seems to be putting me off most if the thought of the smell. I love having cleaner hair and fingers (and it's also FREEZING outside - whereas I'm happy to vape in my kitchen).

I really want to quit but I feel really apprehensive about doing it.

I’m going to try from Wednesday. I have a vape not sure weather to use it or go cold turkey.

SnowWhitesSM · 31/01/2022 15:06

Well done. I've tried a few times this month but am determined when this packet finishes not to have another. I'm actually fine with the nicotine withdrawal and quitting. My issue is when I'm emotionally upset all I want is a fag and I've recently split up with h so it's all very emotional and sad.

I need to find another crutch to make me feel better if I get sad.

My stars are all the days I've not smoked.

Ok… so, I’ve had one day in 28 days! Still vaping like a loon… but I think I might have cracked it.

How’s everyone else doing?
