Facing induction after stillbirth at 30 weeks and needing advice

Please help me. I’m due to go in tomorrow to start the induction process to deliver my 30 week old still birth boy. I don’t know how I have the strength to do this. How do you find the strength to push a baby that isn’t going to cry? Please give me advice if you have gone through this horrific situation. At the minute I don’t see how it is possible to do this

Sorry I have no advice. I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry you are in this tragic situation.

Have the hospital given you any info about people you can talk to for practical and emotional advice and support?

With best wishes.

Hi - I'm really sorry you are going though this and for the loss of your son. I was in your situation a few weeks ago with my daughter, who I delivered at 39 weeks. In my case, there wasn't much time to mentally prepare, as there was only hours between learning she didn't have a heartbeat and the induction and then delivery. I would imagine you might still be in shock (I think I was for the first week or 2). It is an awful situation and there isn't much advice I can give you except for you will survive this. I'm not long into my own grief journey, but if you ever want to chat, my PMs are open.
