Family counselling for step families

Has anyone tried this and could recommend a counsellor? We’re a family of 5, two kids together plus I have an older daughter from a previous relationship. Dh has been with us since she was one and dd hasn’t seen or spoken to her biological father for 13 years.

In (very) short, we need (a lot) of support to keep the family together. I’m looking for a counsellor who will talk to all members of the family and importantly, specialises in blended families.

Thanks in advance.

Hey @ducksfizz. I don’t have any recommendations but i’m on here at ten past midnight with some weary solidarity. I think we also need some help, but i don’t know where to start looking.

Google AFT, the association for family therapy.

Thanks @Snugglemonkey, I will do. Do you have experience of using them?

No, but have worked with people and referred to them, and worked with people who used them. I have also been to their cpd events. They are very well thought of in the therapy world.
