I still like my space....aibu. My dd is being a real handful atm and i just know its easier to deal with her 1:1. Step child is lovely but it creates a good child/ bad child dynamic which i find hard.
Also house is tiny. Sdd only here 50/ 50 so not an inconvenience.

I think most people like their space really. Nothing wrong with that.

Asides from that I don't see anything that will change about your situation, but you're feelings are reasonable.

I don't think you can blame the sc for the good child/bad child dynamic if your child is the one who is misbehaving.

Maybe your child is feeling a bit put out with having to "share" you with your sc for 50% of the time and is acting up because of it.

And of course it's fine to like your space!

Yes i think child is put out with having to share me but also enjoying teen drama. We are moving to a bigger place soon...hurrah!
