A break from watching video games.

Jokes aside, I always appreciate the standard stuff, some nice candles, bath stuff etc...

My DSC once got me a lovely teddy for a birthday though which I really like. Not a gift to be used but something that felt more heartfelt I guess and like they'd chosen it themselves.

Are you DC old enough to go somewhere and choose something?

That's really lovely and refreshing to hear. Candles are always s lovely gift in my opinion and a card to wish her happy christmas and acknowledge your appreciation. It's very thoughtful so I dont think it really matter what you get. The acknowledgement alone is enough. Smile

I don’t think it really matters. The thought is all. Personally, I hate candles, though. I would never use them and would give them away. Bath stuff would be good.

We usually get bath stuff or jewellery, I let my dc choose (from a small list of options)

What a lovely thought. I'd suggest maybe nice comfy slippers, some chocolates? A voucher for Audible would go down very well for a lot of the mums I know.
Only thing I would say is I'd avoid candles as the scent can be very personal.

A please or a thank you. Preferably both.
