Chores for stepkids

Just a question to feed my curiosity really. Just wondering if you have your step kids do chores if they don't live with you ? For example if you have them eow and then some holidays? If so what do they do? I don't mean chores around the house really I mean more picking up after themselves or tidying their own room?

We have DSS 50-50 (6) and at our house all he has to do is take any dishes he's used back to the kitchen when he's done, keep his room tidy (still working on that one!). He LOVES to help me cook and clean though so helps out with everything he can.

He also feeds the dog when he wakes up and lets him out into the garden each day he's here as the dog eats dry food and he just uses the scoop from the dog food bin and gives him his breakfast, but he begged to do that from the day we got the dog.
