I've been a stepmum for 10yrs, am also mothr of 9yo. stepkids are 'grown up' 22 & 19. ss - no problem. sd - hell. she now has 10mth old baby of her own, is SAHM single parent on benefit.Sd has always driven me mad, completely selfish, no respect for anyone, lazy etc. now we are frequently landed with her baby as well as her. It's a long story. Anyway, i'm seriously thinking now, after 10 years, that this is never going to improve, especially now there's another generation coming into it, and perhaps it would be better if i just face it that she has beaten me, and it's time for me to get out of her dads life, take our daughter out of it, and leave them to it. I'm so miserable with it all. It can't be that difficult to split, once you decide it's the right thing for everyone concerned. I'm reaching that decision now. Any words from anyone who's been here before would be very welcome.
